What Happens when I Restore a Document Snapshot?

When you restore a document snapshot, the values of the reusable variables and the visibility of the conditional tags in the document are updated as follows:

• If a reusable variable is included in a snapshot, then the value of the variable in the document is updated to reflect the value of the variable in the restored snapshot.
• If a reusable variable is not included in a snapshot, then the value of the variable in the document is not updated.
• If a conditional tag is included in a snapshot, then SmartDocs will ensure that tag is visible in the document when the snapshot is restored.
• If a conditional tag is not included in a snapshot, then SmartDocs will ensure that tag is hidden in the document when the snapshot is restored.
